Suggested fabrics:The Bernadette Skirt is designed for woven fabrics. Any sort of medium weight woven is suitable. If you choose a fabric like a mid-weight twill or denim you will get a more structured skirt. If you choose a drapier fabric like a rayon challis or silk, you will get a flowier skirt.
Fabric requirements:You may need to purchase extra yardage if your fabric has a heavy nap, is directional, striped, or has an obvious repeat.
Mini skirt: 45 (114 cm) wide fabric: 1.2 1.7 yd (1.1 1.6 m) // 54-60 (137-153 cm) wide fabric: 1.2 1.7 yd (1.1 1.6 m).
