Interestingly, you can use an iron on these mats, and they roll up for easy storage and can be washed when dirty.
For Patchwork Use:
-When you mark or fold the seam allowance in, the fabric won’t move.
-Beads won’t roll.
-Smooth surface won’t damage your tools or fabrics.
-Easy to carry and store.
Instructions
If you get a crease, cover it with piece of material and you can press with medium temperature iron (up to 180 degrees).
If it gets dirty, you can wash with water and a mild detergent, using a cloth. Dry in the shade (Do not tumble dry).

-Don’t iron directly on the mat (needs material to resist the high heat)
-This is not a cutting mat.
