Do you love to turn skeins into cakes with a wool winder? Now you can knit a home for your cake and protect it from the environment. The center pull goes through a little hole in the strap that holds the cake down. Started from the bottom, you can make it bigger or smaller to fit your cake. A slip stitch pattern worked with two colors adds little beads to the side!
This project teaches the provisional cast on and uses 6 double pointed needles. It also has an adorable slip stitch patterning for additional stitch knowledge.
The materials kit will include the yarn needed, pattern, a finishing needle, place marker and a button. Students will need to bring a set of 5 size 6 double pointed needles.
